Spice Girls haven’t had a hit in God knows how many years but their fans are still really excited to see them on tour again. Spice Girls began their history in 1993, when an ad appeared in London newspaper The Stage, calling on 18-23 year old females that can sing and dance to make up an all-girl pop group.

The 'Spice Girls' are such a hot commodity right now that A-listers like Tom Cruise are even having a hard time scoring tickets to the group's upcoming tour. "The Spice Girls will also play in Los Angeles, New York, Sydney, Cape Town and Hong Kong, and previously had to add an extra 16 London shows after tickets for the one initial concert on December 15 sold out in 38 seconds.In the US, Spice Girls tickets are selling for as much as $2,000 (£1,000) on eBay.

The Spice Girls made three studio albums and split up in 2001 to focus on their solo careers.The Spice Girls boasted album sales of 55 million during their brief career, and hits including "Wannabe" and "Say You'll Be There" topped charts across the globe.
