-> Dravid gets a ground applause after he hits his first run after 38 balls.Dravide smiles back with bat in reponse. He needs to get back his confidence.
-> India for first time in the tour crossed 200+ runs.

-> Zaheer Khan injured and is out of the tour, Ishant Sharma take his place.
-> RP Singh gave India needed lead with his spell of 4 for 108 but India could not contain Australian innings thereafter
-> Hogg's 79 (his sixth test only) and Symmonds 137 put Ausssies 134/6 to a comfortable total for 7th wicket partnership.
-> Poor umpiring resulted in two not out decisions (Ponting was out on 17 and ofcourse not out on 55 , Bucknor misjudged Symmonds's decision) in favor of Aussies and one out decision in favor of India ( Ponting out for 55 is a not out)
-> Last 162 runs came in at acceleration rate of just in 37 overs.

Australia was the first country to host Sri Lanka in a three-match Test series in 1995 and in the same series Muttiah Muralitharan, was called for throwing seven times by Australian umpire Darrell Hair which stirred a bigger controversy in cricket world.

Murali is the man who gets lots of attention in this series as he boycotted his country's previous Test tour in 2004 after Australia's prime minister questioned his bowling action.Murali also said the Sri Lankan team would not copy the on-field verbal tactics tried by India during the one-day series last month.let's see

Kishore Biyani promoted Future Group today announced its association with Future Cup the forthcoming seven match one-day international (ODI) series between India and Australia, that starts in Bangalore from September 29, 2009.

As the title partner for the tournament, the Future Group will be associated with the development, branding and promotion of the game to be played between the two world champions One Day International Champion Australia and the recently crowned World Twenty20 Champions, India. India vs Pakistan at Glasgow - Friendship Cup 2007

The match, named the Friendship Cup, aims to raise more than five million dollars (2.5 million pounds) for charities in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Britain.

Prince Charles came up with the idea of the match. He has invited arch rivals India and Pakistan to play a one-day international charity match in Glasgow on July three to celebrate 60 years of independence from Britain.

Note : This particular post revenues, don't expect thousands of dollars as my blog is just a start up blog- what ever few dollars I earn through this post will be put to good use. Earnings will be donated to charity justifying the cause and reason of this match.Check back the following day - I'll post the donation amount.
