Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2008 ( India vs Australia 2008 October/November test series) is a real litmus test to Kumble's Indian team which stumbled during their last Sri Lanka test series. Australian team is playing a fairly young side, Ozzies are ready to beat India on Indian grounds. Tendulkar is a man to watch who if he scores 77 more runs then he will become the lead test run scorer in the test cricket surpassing Lara.

Zee Sports live cricket series schedule for year 2008
Zee Sports started telecasting sports channel in year 2007 with India Pakistan series. $19.99 per month seems to be a good deal only caveat is that Zee Sports will not telecast all matches and looks like they have obtained rights for all matches played in India.
Here is the schedule for year 2008

India vs. Australia – October
India vs. England – November
Personally I would prefer month to month subscription to this channel instead of going for a year subscription as many year subscribers are repenting for the months and months of long gaps in India playing matches.

SriLanka will be at disadvantage as India is now comfortable with Australian pitches. Australia are strong favorites and It is interesting to see how Australian sportsmanship will be as India and Sri Lanka teams both had issues in the past playing against Australia in Australia. This is one reason I would watch this series to see for any controversies.

-> Dravid gets a ground applause after he hits his first run after 38 balls.Dravide smiles back with bat in reponse. He needs to get back his confidence.
-> India for first time in the tour crossed 200+ runs.
Day 1 - Australia 1st innings 376/7
-> Zaheer Khan injured and is out of the tour, Ishant Sharma take his place.
-> RP Singh gave India needed lead with his spell of 4 for 108 but India could not contain Australian innings thereafter
-> Hogg's 79 (his sixth test only) and Symmonds 137 put Ausssies 134/6 to a comfortable total for 7th wicket partnership.
-> Poor umpiring resulted in two not out decisions (Ponting was out on 17 and ofcourse not out on 55 , Bucknor misjudged Symmonds's decision) in favor of Aussies and one out decision in favor of India ( Ponting out for 55 is a not out)
-> Last 162 runs came in at acceleration rate of just in 37 overs.

The Chappell-Hadlee Trophy in cricket is an annual three match ODI series between Australia and New Zealand. It is named after legendary cricketing families from the two countries, the Chappell brothers (Ian, Gregory, and Trevor) of Australia and Walter Hadlee and his three sons, (Barry, Dayle and Sir Richard), of New Zealand.
Australia lost the Chappell-Hadlee Series last time it was played, in February, when they rested Ponting and Adam Gilchrist in the lead-up to the World Cup. However, Aussies have chosen a full-strength side for this month's three-match series.
