India vs Australia live 2nd Final 2008 online at Brisbane - Commonwealth Bank Series
2nd final of CB Series at Brisbane starts in -
Tendulkar shoulders batting responsibility in 1st final of CB series.Critics call him "match looser" & Indian captain makes a post match comment that he is a "records man". In spite of all these the little man shouldered the 1st finals win responsibility when Indian top order is at its worse form. For Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, this is a mission nicely accomplished in his 20 long year cricket career. This win gives mental edge over Aussies in 2nd final. Aussies in my opinion resorted to all tactics to take Tendlya out of the ground even throwing full length balls on his face but he contained his innings. The world champions, Australia is struggling both on bowling and batting fronts that too on their home ground as witnessed in CB series so far.
Both India and Sri Lanka were not able to bank that "out of form" Australia team opportunity so far except that India was able to do it in 1st final. First talk about Aussies bowling, Brett Lee & Johnson are only notable ones with occasional help from Symmonds. As I noted in my previous post after the departure of McGrath and Warne, Aussies are in the process of look out for bowling successors. Batting wise Top order is totally inconsistent with Gilchrist coming off to a ground with heavy crowd cheering and leaving at a blink of eye to pavilion before crowd notices. Hayden & Symmonds throwing their wickets with reckless shots. Ponting searching for his batting form and is meticulously studied by teams for his wicket.
India on the other hand mainly depended on batting of Gautum Gambhir & Dhoni's patience in all of CB series. Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma was performing averagely in all the matches. Uthappa is the one man who needs some domestic cricket before he sets foot on international team again. We have too much of expectations from Yuvi and he did won one crucial match for India. All credit goes to India's bowling new finds Ishant and Praveen Kumar. Pathan except for the 1st final contributed consistently both with his bat and the ball. Haribhajan keeps pressure on Aussies team just by his sheer presence in the team.

MTV spoof -"Don't touch my balls" - Tendulkar
April 20 - Update : Tendulkar dropped from Bangladesh ODIs but will play in tests.
(I'm a sachin fan and who in India is not ..Lets hope this resting of him makes him think and practise to play his natural sachin cricket)
April 6 - When we wake up tomorrow to TGIF, BCCI decides the fate of team India.
Remember the 'bad' Friday when we are shamefully exited from world cup 2007, the board is meeting now on 'Good Friday' - April 6 2007 to do again one more useless never ending pursuits of searching for a strong Indian team. We are going to Bangladesh better board scrap the existing minnows of team India.
Tendulkar says "Don't touch my balls" and will see if board hears it ....

Tendlya is best in crucial matches
Tendlya is best in crucial matches says one ardent fan 'Amit Goyal' of Orkut community.Tendulkar is always criticized for bagging records for name sake in trivial matches.
This ardent fan proves that every one is wrong by doing some statistics on crucial matches.
He goes on deciding the criteria of crucial matches as -Crucial matches are those in which the situation is of type “do and die”.
In his opinion there are some type of crucial matches.
1. final
2. semi final
3. quarter final
4. when the series is of 7 matches and u are equal by 3-3 then the seventh match is crucial
5. etc. etc.
Sachin career:
matches: 374
runs: 14537
century:40
half century:74
more than 50: 114
average:44.05
Crucial match career
matches: 103
runs:4764
century:16
half centuries: 23
more than 50: 39
average:50.14
There is criticism too that criteria selected for crucial matches is biased, but fact is that as much as we hate Sachin we love him equally and I some how feel Tendlya will make his bat answer and shut the mouth of whining Indian fans.
6+4=10dulkar show us your best world cup ever performance.
Lets put Tendulkar to test as next two matches are very crucial to India to be in the world cup.If he isn't turned up any performance we stick him up with 'Not a match winner' title.
