The previous ad of India vs Australia series was much better with humor added to it. I feel to my heart that such ad "Hum Honge Kamyab" (we will Overcome Some Day) is what India needs during these troubled terrorist attacks and not something that brings back the bloodbath witnessed in recent incidents.

2008 October Australia series dubbed more important than playing against Pakistan
Tendulkar started the obvious fire by saying India vs Australia series much bigger than playing against arch rivals Pakistan.
Is that statement true ? I feel so it is just Pakistan does not have that fire in it any more as a team as it used to be is the conclusion I drew from Sachin's claim. Of course Australia with its bad boys behavior feeding the fuel to the fire in recent years under the leadership of Ponting (that's another long post in coming days)

Even though betting and huge crowds are witnessed in any match against Pakistan, recently (from 2001) Pakistan has lost its flare to fight back. The yester year players - Imran Khan, Miandad, Wasim Akram, Abdul Quadir made sure they fought until their last breath (Figuratively). The less recent team of Saed Anwar, Amir Sohail, Inzamam, Izaz Ahmad kept the momentum going on and made sure they gave their best when playing against India.
A match between India and Pak used to be a war like atmosphere with sweet, rude and un gentlemanly behaviors on and off the ground.
1986 Sharjah: Miandad hit Chetan Sharma off six from last over
1989 Tendulkar vs Quadir
Tendulkar himself will not forget lifting the Quadir for sixers. Pakistanis unwelcoming crowd kindled then 16 years old Sachin with placards saying “Doodh Pitha Bhachcha ..ghar jaake dhoodh pee”, (kid, go home and drink milk), Sachin took then young leg spinner Mustaq Ahmed for a ride sending two sixes in one over. The frustaded guru of Mustaq Abdul Qadir challenged Sachin saying ” Bachchon ko kyon mar rahe ho? Hamein bhi maar dikhao` (`Why are you hitting kids? Try and hit me.`). Quadir. I hope Qyadir did not sleep that night with his over stats 6, 0, 4, 6, 6, 6. That was back in 1989.

March 1996 world cup incident when Prasad taught a lesson to Sohail.
That was the last incident of 1996 I can recall other than Twenty20 close final. Compared to 90s matches with Pakistan it is matches with Aussies in 2000s that gets more interesting. Why Tendulkar ? Haha he has to complete is record of 77 runs to surpass Lara.

'The Sunday Telegraph' painstakingly collected and collated official ICC data, which shows India having faced more sanctions than any other Test playing nation in the past 10 years.
The daily also took a jibe at former India captain Sourav Ganguly, dubbing him "the game's undisputed problem child, being hauled over the coals by cricket's governing body a record 12 times in his international career."
"Overall, Indian players have been charged for 43 infringements since 1997, for offences including intimidating umpires, abusing rival players, ball tampering, time wasting and widespread dissent," it said.

The Indian cricket board has withdrawn the threat to pull out of the ongoing Australian tour if a ban on Harbhajan Singh was not overturned by the International Cricket Council.
"There is no question of the tour being called off," board spokesman Rajiv Shukla quoted president Sharad Pawar as saying on Saturday.
"He (Pawar) said the two boards intend to maintain good relations as there is no problem with the two," Shukla said.

Future grp is title partner for India-Aust ODIs
Kishore Biyani promoted Future Group today announced its association with Future Cup the forthcoming seven match one-day international (ODI) series between India and Australia, that starts in Bangalore from September 29, 2009.
As the title partner for the tournament, the Future Group will be associated with the development, branding and promotion of the game to be played between the two world champions One Day International Champion Australia and the recently crowned World Twenty20 Champions, India. The matches will be played in Bangalore, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Vadodara, Nagpur and Mumbai.
