2008 wildlife photographer award to India's snow leopard photo

Steve Winter of USA won prestigious 2008 Wildlife photographer of the year award. It took him 10 months to get this photo of snow leopard. A winter in Ladakh's national park India where snow leopards with waterproof outer fur, dense woolly under-fur and large nasal cavities that warm the air as they breathe can tolerate temperature ranges of -40°C and 40°C.
