Media and IPL are still fighting over media restrictions on covering inaugural IPL tournament starting from April 18' 2008. Willow TV, Inc. established in year 2002 is the cricket fans popular live Internet video streaming provider in North America (including the United States and Canada), Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean.Willow TV bagged the telecast rights for IPL tournament for next five years from World Sport Group (WSG). The five-year deal includes distribution rights of IPL on television, radio, broadband and internet.

The service is free but cell phone companies may charge a data fee if its nort of your monthly package with phone company. The phones supported list is available from here. To view the IPL matches a mobile device client is to be downloaded from here. Once installed launch cricket and you will be able to access free coverage of IPL. I haven't tried myself and once matches start i'll post an update of my free mobile video streaming or coverage experience from willow.TV.
